Talk about consistently wonderful authentic Italian food with an elegant twist of tastes. The carpaccio was beautifully sliced, mild tasting and accented with some wonderful cheese and capers. The surprise came with the scampi with champagne sauce. Best scampi I have ever had. The seafood risotto was simple, tasty with every bite, and authentic. I would order both of these again. The side of gluten-free pasta was a surprise. I couldn't tell the difference between traditional wheat pasta and their gluten-free corn pasta. Full disclosure, I've been coming here about every two years since they opened. I have never been disappointed. I keep thinking of trying another place when I'm in town, but I am always grateful that I keep going back to Vito's. Note, Italian cuisine is regional. So I always make sure I have no expectations of what the food should be like. In addition, I like that a lot of locals come here for dinner. . I'm really looking forward to coming here over the holidays with my family for the authentic Italian Christmas meal experience. Buon appetito!
